going solo....info
Its me again, I have so many questions.....here is my next one: I am going solo on my first trek to los and I would love some input on how to conduct myself. Should I be weary of walking around late at night by myself? Should I not tell anyone im solo? Any places I should stay away from since ill be solo?......Im sure youll all let me know all I need to know...and thx again....

i feel safer in los than in london my hometown!
don't worry about being solo...that'll only last til about 1 hour after you land! enjoy your trip!

you will never be solo in patong.
drop in mai thai bar and introduce yourself to nicke the owner he will do the rest. plenty of board members in there.don't be afraid almost any of us goes to los solo

Been 30 times to LOS over the last 9 years, most of the time solo except when I have company of a thai lady.
Never been afraid of walking alone any place late night in Thailand - more afraid of walking alone late night in Copenhagen. In Patong, don't go alone to the beach late evening, many Katoey are looking for company there.
