*Best place Thailand in July Weather wise?

Hello,

I flying to Thailand this Friday and have planned to do at least one week in Samui i have been checking the weather for the island and all i have seen in the last two weeks of looking is Scattered T-Storms etc for like every day which seems a bit bleak so is it a washout?

Going by info like as follows i a bit confused how good or bad is it going to be, otherwise i would just move on i have three weeks maybe longer if having a good time sure i expect it to rain but do want a bit of sunshine if possible.

The info below is this correct or not quite what its going to be like note i'm going in July?

Hot Season, March - August: The weather is still dry in this time, and rather hot. In May the raining may increase a little. This is a great period to visit Samui if you can stand 30-35 degrees Celsius daytime. The sunshine is still dominating the day time, almost as much as in the Dry Season.

a matter of luck KB....everywhee will be HOT and you will probably get rain wherever you go but don't let it bother you...mostly only afternoon + early evenning

If you are staying in Samui be gone by August though as the marauding hordes come in from Europe from late July

I like you am from the U.K and have booked my flight for 28th Aug i was in phuket last year june-july and the weather stayed at about 28-32 and a little rain and this year Jan-May very hot and mostly dry and to be honest i don't care if it rains everyday because it tends to only last a short time and everywhere is dry in about 30mins looking at the weather today in the U.K we will be lucky if everywhere drys out by 2010.
