Yes it is illegal.. The law is quite clear and a proposal for a private nudist resort was shot down under Thai law. They dont bust farangs in tourist areas tho.

Prostitution is also illegal.

I think that LiL sums up the perfect contradiction that is Thai law + attitude here Kiwidd.....all things are fine behind closed doors and or if they can be ignored and are profitable for the economy or a policeman

Law is one thing.....attitudes are another......but it is necesary to advise you on this as you may experience some negative reactions from the locals particularly if indiscreet.....i think that you can read between the lines here and reasonably assume that sunbathing on KPG or Samui with your top off on a mainly tourist beach should not result in gaol and banishment from LOS.....you won't be the only one there.....but you need to know the bottom (all puns intended) line

As far as picking only the parts that I chose to: if I replied to every part, then I would have to write a short book as a response, and it would not be a dissected epilogue, but a dissected dissertation.

Seem then ride about without shirts.. But seem to remember them having shirts on any time they 'stopped' and or came in..

i must have seen you in offshore many times but can't place you because you mention offshore quite alot. Also i'm a little older than you but my memory is o.k except when going round town with Danny and Ian on a shot downing session..... Jimmy came in one afternoon with no shirt on and stood next to Danny who never has a shirt on and we were taking the pi#s saying how they could be twins........Jimmy's 6 pack and Danny's barrel..............
