Topless?
Ok before I start I just want to makes this clear and say I know it is not customary to be topless in Thailand and I am asking this to find out peoples experience and not there opinions.
I want to know from people who have been to either Koh Phanagan or Koh Samui about if there are women topless and it is accepted there. Last edited by Kiwidd : 02-07-2007 at 04:10.

some people might think it is , but it isn't! , at least , not by the Thai population

you will find topless falang women there on the beach and by the pools....but most Thais are very offended by this

but it's all this shame associated with nudity. the women get offended cos a)there might be children around b) my bf/husband might actually enjoy the view c) man, she wishes to have big knockers (this only applies to nice sets of headlights) Farang women going topless can actually cause a big family squabble where someone's gonna be hurt real bad. So despite whoever's 'who are u to judge me?' attitude, just spare a thought that your actions might actually hurt someone else.

My GF tells me its not a problem for farangs to go topless or to go braless. The police frown on Thai's only, the Thai's arent offended as far as I have seen when I have been on Patong beach and Hua Hin. the more remote the beach the more liberal they seem to be. so Samui should be fine.. but that's just my experience.

I saw some shocker falangs topless on the beach at Patong. I dont think it is good in someone elses country, and when I get the stares from the old farang women when I'm with a thai lady I just look at their husbands and smile, they know what I mean.

Plenty of topless ladies on Patong beach the last couple of times I have been.
When I was walking with my TG she just said "Falang women not shy no" and me I wasnt really looking 55555
