Patong bomb threats - What to do.

Hi All,

As you all know, there may be a possibility of a raghead attack on the Promised Land.

If there is any advance warning of bombs, or a bomb goes off and you expect there may be others, then you MUST do the following if you wish to survive.

1.) You must take cover in a secure area. Strategically placed all over the Patong resort there are purpose built bomb shelters which have already been erected.
These are in the shape of 'Mr Rahman' or 'Mr Neeri', 8 suits and 25 shirts fo $2.

These are safe houses for a number of reasons.
Firstly, the owners are usully Muslims themselves. So the Al-Quiada will not target them.

2.) Secondly, you should then hide behind one of the dummies in the window. These dummies, and there clothes have been standing there for over30 years, and the horrible red and cream suits NEVER fade with direct sunlight!!!!! A poxy bomb from the nutters wont even crease the collars.

If ever there is nuclear fallout, I am going to fit into one of theose suits I will get no radiation sickness

Dirty Mike

'ello my friend ! I have lovely suit for you !
There is even one guy who puts on a fake "mockney" accent
"awight mate, how R ya"

Jeez, when I'm in Patong do I ever look like I'm in the market for a suit ? - Hmmm - maybe I do - duno ?

How do these guys stay in business - It's kinda like Mr. Patel spent two weeks in the UK back in 1975, liked the place so much and decided to recreate it in Thailand. Trouble was he's never been back since - prob. can't afford the airfare 'cos nobody buys his suits.

Anyway I'd hate to see them close down as they always brighted up my day - just thinking of wearing one for a laugh !

One such tailor has a sign saying
"Harry's - Trusted by Millions!" - always cracks me up seeing that.

Another little part that makes Thailand so great.

And yes - I'll be getting one if the bomb drops. Great idea
