Cool No long waits

Most of them will get you sorted out there and then or give you an appointment for when you can come back.

When I used the dentis on Sai Nam Yen I always had to make an appointment, they are busy. At Promjai they started with me as I walked in, maybe because it was new at that time. Clean and all the latest up to date equipment.

I always use Promjai. As sead, they have top of the line equipment. (there probebly are cheaper thou?) But for plastic fillings the price was good.
Wasn't that intrested in finding new holes when I didn't have eny pain in my theet, but they did good work with repering and changing old work.
As said befor, always a smile.

i was thinking about this too, either there or bangkok or CM. but what i wanted to know was if they did whatever you wanted... ie if you said: 'before you do anything at ALL, numb my entire mouth with an injection of stuff, so i can't feel you poking around looking for holes etc' or some other kind of numb method.? over here they always do as they please and do their own business. i've had bad experiences with dentists always hurting even if i don't need anything done, especially when doing the usual 'clean up', god that ****ing hurts when you have sensitive teeth like i do against cold/hot water and digging around etc. so id like it all done, but totally numb. can they do that or will they be like UK dentists and say 'oh no i won't numb your mouth just for a clean up!'

I had extensive(=expensive in Australia) work done at Bangkok Phuket International Hospital and my wife had a root canal done for the ridiculous price of $150AUD. On e of the guys from work has just been there for implants as well. Highly recommended. They do have a website but I'm too lazy to look it up for you.

I have had a couple of experiences with dentists in Patong, first was laser whitening(never again), and the other i required root canal, went to first appointment and got the emergency surgery done, booked in for root canal a few days later, never turned up, probably banned from there now.
But both places i used were very nice and up to standard of back home no problem.

Si,

what was the problem with the laser whitening. Something I would not mind trying. To pricey here in US.

Had Laser whaitning at Promjai in january this year. There where two proseduers, thook the most expensive one, Best smile 15000 Bhat. (Maybe can be done cheaper in Bangkok?) Some icing the first day, nothing to worry, drink lots (light colour) beer!!
The dentist told me it would last about one year whit continjuing use of whitning tootpaste.
Still execellent result white cheap white tootpast.
Rekomend it if you tierd of seeing yellow theet in the mirror.

Never had it done with the laser, and it takes too damn long with the home kit. Its too pricey here at home so 1500B sounds just right. Lucky for me Im not a smoker or drink much red wine. Would be nice to have pearlies just like Mav.

The homepage says there is a promition now, 8500 baht for laser teeth whitening.

So how long time does it take?

After S1mon told me his story in bar I scrapped the idea of doing it but now got the interest again.

i heard laser whitening doesnt work very well, and can fade back to normal after even a few weeks. it can last 1 year if you are VERY lucky. the best are the home kits, 5 nights use and it'll last you a good 2 years. i did mine 2 and a half years ago (it was £250 for the kit, they make the custom rubber things for your mouth etc) and they are still whiter than they were before, due to antibiotics when i was little. i've still got years worth of the liquid you use. one thing though is after you use it when you wake up in the morning your teeth are REALLY sensitive to everything... times that by 50, and thats what it feels like after laser whitening. go with the custom home kit which you get done at the dentist, it'll last you for years and wont kill you so much

Took about 2 hours if I remember correctly. Putt on som gel, waited ca 40 min for the laser, an did tat 2 or 3 times.
Never done the home kit. But one evaning with some periodikly icing/hurting sensation has not put me from traying it again.
I do not drink coffe and seldom red wine. I drink tee and LOTS of coke.
7 months on the result is still verry good. I had a lot yellower theet then may weife(who I thougtht had wheite theet)before , may theet are now still a lot wheiter then hers. I would say the result hasnn't changed much, youre thhet get an wheit/Ivory colur. (Not Illuminating like Ross in "Frinds")
More importent they are not yellow, and you will find your self nothesing people whit yellow theet (as I had before)
I have some born with small defekts on one of may front theet, and that of courese she coluldn't do anyting with.
All and all I would say its afordeble non essentil luxery, that you you dont notise much but think it was ok and like me will probebly do again.
(I went for the "Best Smile" procedure.)
