emabarrassing but true
Ok i have to fess up, dont know why i want to share this but here goes. Last year was my first trip to Phuket and had a good time, but here is the embarrassing bit. I was there for 10 days i think and didnt barfine any girls, i dropped into the MTB a couple of times but i must have been way too early because no one was around, not nicke or many people. So i found myself spending all my time at the shipwrecked bar. I loved it but as a few bm's informed me you cant bar fine the girls there, anyway everynight i found myself there having drinks and a great time. Now alot has happened in the last yr, i have since seperated with the missus and find myself heading back to los at the end of august, so i wonder if this time will be any different?
I have every intention of making this trip very different from the last and once again i will be checking out the MTB but trying to keep away from shipwreck incase i fall into those bad habits. This trip I hope will be all about the girls, anyway i guess a trip report might be in order this time. I will keep you all informed if planters next trip fails as miserably as the last.

you say you loved it and had a great time at shipwreck
having split up with your missus now you intend to make the upcoming trip different and it will be all about the girls either way is fine (up to you as they say) but you should not feel embarassed at all about not going with girls on the last trip (or on any future trips for that matter) don't worry about what everyone else is doing / might think about you there is no REAL bravado / prestige with going with however many girls you can (though some try and make it so)- do what makes you happy and share your experiences if you like but don't fall into the trap of thinking its some kind of competition enjoy

I, for one, dont really give a p1ss, how many BG's you barfined. (like this forum is about a puss-count or what?) I just hope you enjoy your time in LOS...whatever your "trip" may be about. I'll look forward to your TR, but for me...you can leave out, all the (juicy) details. And, PLEASE don't interject "thai" words, and then (your) translation, of such... into the report. Sorry for your troubles at home....Come back to Thailand, and relax a bit. Find a nice TG, (or more)...and enjoy your time with them, and unwind. What was so emabarrassing
 You said you had a fine time,what more is it to achieve.You said you have been married,so it cant be your first time with woman around,so you probably are little more relaxed about it than some others here  Why not just be yourself and relax and do just what you want. See you Shipwreck in August probably

Ooookay, let's get this thread back on track - maybe at least half-a-page before it veers off into in-jokes?
 Planter, I am sure you will have a good trip. First trip is always a learning experience, you do more things wrong than right, but you return the wiser. Make sure you post you arrival and departure dates into the Member Arrivals thread so Werwolf can put you into the calendar and other BMs will know when you're going to be there.

Mate, I think your a good man and I'm sure that you'll have a better time this time around. Don't worry to much and just see what happens. You will be a handsum man in late August and fighting them off. Just take it easy and dont promise to much. Life in LOS can make your head spin after a relationship break up

thanks guys, i guess embarrassing might be the wrong choice of words, i just wanted to put a different view forward to most of the posts. I enjoyed my holiday it was just different to what i had expected and i realise my holiday was my holiday and that i could have made it anything i wanted to. I enjoyed the company of the girls at shipwrecked perhaps because i knew i couldnt barfine them they were more appealing (not sure)?. I took a couple to dinner and went jetski with a couple, generally just had fun. I just intend to have a little more ADULT fun this time.

i know guys who are regulars to patong but rarely go to even soi bangle preferring quiter bars elsewhere,diving etc. so you are not a freak(or gay,alfred)just for not BF any girlies
