You might want to check twice on that ... routine checkup does not sound like a covered expense on a travel insurance. I recently purchased a travel insurance policy and when the coverage was read to me over the phone, $1000 in dental coverage came up. I immediately I was looking for an opportunity for a procedure. The policy did, however, specify that routine, scheduled and elective treatments were excluded.

not covered by travel insurance generally....only emergency dental work for non existing conditions is usually coverd by TI
haven't had any done myself there but for a check up why bother wasting your time on your holidays......do it on your bosses time like all my employees do....

Still don't see the travel insurance covering (prior) conditions. Unless of course the Thai dentist, plays along....

I use Zahart clinic on Rat-u-thit rd opposite Phuket Island Real Estate. From Sub-Way About 80-100 yards walking up Rat-u-thit away from Bangla on the left...
I recommend them to everyone who asks and had no complaints, good luck

Hi, I use Zahart clinic too when I come out to Patong on holiday. Its about £20 for a check up and clean and £30 for a filing (nice white fillings, no amalgam here!). Nice staff, very clean and straight forward to get an appointment
