Betta (Siamese fighting fish) is a beautifull fish. Just hold a mirror before it and look how they change colour.
So Plagat was not wrong mentionning Thai beauties and his blog as Bettalover.

55555555555555555555555555555!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got you there guys!
But I didn't lie, they are truly my second hobby!
Every year I breed hundreds sometimes thousands of fightingfish, also called Bettas, they are probably the most widespread symbol of Thailand and are found in aquariumshops in most countries!
The true Siamese Fightingfish, Betta splendens, was one of the first aquariumfishes in the world, and is wellknown among everyone who has ever had a fishtank!
In nature there are maybe 70 or so different species of bettas, and new ones are still discovered every year!
Their homerange extends from Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia to the islands of Indonesia.
I used to catch them myself during one man expeditions to the djungles of Thailand, but now in my older days I prefer to buy them from Chatuchark Weekend Market in BKK and "smuggle" them with me back home!

As some of you might not know my nickname on the boards "Plahgat" (usually spelled Plakat), is Thai for fightingfish!
Young Thai boys usually scavenge the swamps and ponds looking for plakat.
Thais has used plakat for ages as fightingfishes , raised in clay-pots and separated into glass-jars when mature.
Even today many households in Thailand still holds a few plakat males in some bottles at the back of their houses!
When 2 males are put together they will immediately start to fight about the territory, money change hands and the betting can be quite high, heard of businessmen bet for 100000 of bahts!
Personally I keep the fish for their beautiful looks and interesting behaviours!
A big variety of colours and forms has been bred today from the natural fightingfish.
That's all I wanted to say...
ps...between us look out for my posts in the near future,
maybe next time I will post some "real" twolegged Thai Beauties!

See ya soon!

Plahgat

Actually, the betta's mating modus operandi might actually explain a lot about how BG developed their own seductive way of putting us under a spell.

The method is really simple.

The female will at first allow the male to be dominant over her.
He will chase her, nip her and dominate her.

When she is ready and believes she has the attention of the male, she will in turn 'attack' him back.
She will chase him, showing her amorous intent.

Then she lures him to under his nest, with her head down and her tail high, inviting him complete the ritual.

When they embrace, both of them go into a trance like suspension, not unlike an orgasm. This goes on for several hours (sometimes for half a day).

When the deal is finally done, the male will chase the female away.

So, now you know BG learnt it from nature after all.

Hmm... I beg to differ.
Phuket-info is a site that's more than just TGs.
It's about all beauty that LOS has to offer.
And the betta is one of the most beautiful ornamental fishes known to the aquatic hobbyist.

In fact, the betta imbellis was once referred to as the 'phuket betta' cos some researcher first discovered it in phuket.

No where in this thread did PlahgatJanne mislead.
The betta is indeed one of the greatest Thai beauties, considering the trade name given is the siamese fighting fish.

In fact, PlahgatJanne has already posted many, many TG pictures.
So many, in fact, that he stated here that this is one of his other hobbies other than thaigirls.

Perhaps you feel 'cheated' because you might have overlooked the fact that some individuals have interest outside of your definition of 'thai beauties'.

In any case, may I merely suggest that you do try and check out the beauty of the betta.

I'm sure you would see beauty in it that is as captivating as the beloved TGs.

And even if you do not wish to, others might just find this thread an opening to another beauty Thailand has to offer.

And to me, that doesn't sound like the work of a wanker.
