Who shares my pain?
Hi all,
I am a not so secret Thailandaholic who is happily married in Australia. Life is generally pretty good and my wife loves trips to LOS so I don't have anything to complain about. This isn't a complaint I am sharing but my pain. Four mates of mine are meeting this weekend in Phuket. Two are arriving tonight and will be on the beers, and the other two arrive tomorrow (or something like that). They will have a dive on Saturday or Sunday and a big night on Sunday (no doubt on Bangla Rd). All I can think about (and its driving me to distraction) is being there. I was last in LOS for 4 days in January and previously for my honeymoon, but I could seriously handle a good 2 trips a year. Anyway the long and short of it is four mates are kicking it up in LOS and i am unable to join them. Just feeling sorry for myself. Cheers. Scotty

Yeah its terrible, I can't go to Patong tonight either because I've got a dentist appointment Saturday morning, have to wait 24 hours, blues really hitting home hard at the moment. 5555555555555!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As george said book a flight and get over here with your mates, tell the wife about how you lost your memory and have struggled for 3 or 4 days to remember who you are and where you live.

I had some major dental work done a few years ago in Phuket, and I travelled alone. I just said to my wife yesterday, "you know, I should have had those three last teeth done, they are starting to give me some trouble. Looks like I'll have to go back for 8 days by myself again. Where there is a will..........

Hey Scotty get a copy of the local Perth newspaper, look under classifieds personal column and you'll see sh1t loads of Thai students trying to make a quick buck from "selling a service" ! I was there a few months ago doing my Biz visa and had some cracking Thai birds back to my place, i guess its the next best thing

i went to a great brothel in perth...off beauford street somewhere. had a 3 sum with a leggy aussie and a gorgeous little thai girl!

My wife suggested i go to Phuket for a break!..So yes i am lying in my made bed whilst eating my cake too!!!

After a two week vacation in May, I found myself betwwen jobs in May so off to LOS for another two weeks. Living the my beautiful girlfriend here but dreaming of the next time I return. Another 8 months? Shite.

She doesnt mind me going to Thailand with mates in principle. She would just object to me taking a holiday when she has to stay at home and work. Am just so under the pump with work and life here that a week in LOS with the lads would be a perfect tonic...when would it not be? I'm in Pain Scotty, stayed in last night because I had a dentists appointment today. Dman came with me because he knows I'm scared of the Dentist, big brute of a Thai lady, oh easily 50kg!!!
Got there, and I got the wrong week, no not of the dentist lady, my apppointment is not until next Saturday!!! How painful is that!! stayed in cleaned my teeth 23 times and all for nothing, got to do it again next weekend!!!
