At night, try the Aussie Bar on Bangla for lots of travellers your age (your Canadian accent might do well there) and perhaps Banana Disco later on.

During the day, Phi Phi would be a good bet. McDonalds too.

cool! cant wait to get there, hey will me and my buddy have problems getting into bars/clubs?? we are 19 and responsible. Just i hear things like you can be 18 to buy liquor but not from a bar/club or something??

I'll be there 2nd half of november, and will (at last) visit the MTB;
Being 19 shouldn't be a problem, I thought the minimum age to enter clubs is 18, but they don't bother tourists too much with id checks (unless you behave like a pr1ck).
