Are the tattoo shops in Phuket sterile?
In America we watch the artist take the needle out of a sterilized
oven type device..........is it the same elsewhere?
If so, I would be really interested in getting some work done during
my August trip to Phuket.
Any suggested shops?

All shops use sterile needles as I am aware of and I never heard about any complications either. Some of the girls in MTB did tattoes last year by a man who visited them at their room and they paid a low price.
There is also a guy who hang around at English bar, his entire body is almost covered with tattoes and he have a shop somewhere too.

Sun and Tatts
Just a word of caution for you guys thinking of having a tattoo, Get it done at the end of the holiday, the sun will ruin it by pulling out all the colour and dont put suntan lotion on a new tattoo it wont heal, my friend got 1 done in Nana and he had suncream in it and it went mancky he ended up getting it cleaned out and redone and it hurt like hell
Good idea is to check out the tattooists work and watch out for that chinese writing I know a girl who had some on the base of her spine, she reckoned it said peace and love, but I reckon it says " I take it up the ar*e"
Dave
Preperation H (Hemmeroid Ointment) is brilliant for healing Tatts it stops the itching and scabbing and do'snt fade the colours.
