So now I understand why people said "Rawai?? Rawai!!! but its so far from any where...."
Its been about 2 weeks since we moved here- and I thought I might mix it up a bit and find a different place to have sunday breakfast. It is way too easy just to automatically pilot it to that same place, every day , because you know its 'safe', you know whats on the menu -blah blah blah - except thats not the reason we moved here - to apply the MacDonalds concept to life - so I off I go to find a new place to eat.
To the internet...
To this site....
to find out a good one (in the minds of the posters and reviewers..)
and ... there's bugger all out there in cyberspace about good places to eat in Rawai!
Thanks though for all the great posts for places to eat over the 'other side' of the island - the BBQ Hut is big time on my list, the Red Onion is not, and a whole lot more great info...
So - I thought I would return the favour - with a Rawai flavour.
After unsuccesful foray on the net for rawai reviews we took our chances, jumped in the car with the little one and headed of into the jungles - well Sai Yuan anyway. Not far along the way we spied a place - "The Breakfast Hut" which had a convient place to pull off and park the car (well - a steep grassy slope on the wrong side of the road - but I find that falls under the category "convienent" in LOS).
I can't tell you to much about the menu , the Big Breakfast just jumped out of page at me - so didnt get any further. Sparkle had the Canadian breakfast.
Both were teriffic - the service was great - and there were great breezes keeping us cool.
It gets a big thumbs up from me
Heres a Picture (eek - first time trying to upload a photo...)
