When you look at the list that Sting did, it is amazing if you look at the top 40 people who post the most.

A lot of us are regulars at Mai Thai, and have met a lot of the list at various times whilst on holiday, plus there are many others who are on the list who also have met people from the forum.

Very interesting!! checked the list and found myself at 120. Posting this so that I may soon reach my goal of top 100. Will never catch MikeGB, Irish Jonny, Sting, etc. I think they sit around at work all day making posts! Am I right? A luxury which I cannot afford, but I can still aspire to such greatness!

hi guys
no longer I want to be one of the over 2'000 just reading.
I discovered the forum somewhen in february this year, looking for informations for my trip in march. and I must say I found all the informations I was looking for plus another 100 helpful ones.

compliments for all of you regular posters, I did rarely find any other forum where the style of communication is that fair (thaistyle!?).
i like it and I will stay in touch.

I think the main reason for such good communication is that many of us have met face to face and I know from posting and reading posts that many members are now good friends

I can say from personal experience that I know quite a few people now from the forum and as a bar owner in Patong it has given my business a positive boost and the opportunity to meet new people coming to my bar, I have to say I get a great buzz out of this............

Actually, one little story I must tell, as most of you know, I keep my anonimity on a public forum, situations past have proved I am correct to do so, but I have actually had a long drink with one member of the forum.

He didn't know who I was, but I certainly did know who he was, he talked about the forum.....

Shame i missed you last april , i came to your bar and bf'ed one of your girls but when i asked about you the camp looking barman told me you were away (i think scotland) but i had a good time at your bar anyway

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, pity I wasnt there!!!

I was in Patong between 25th April and 17th May, I then went to Isaan until 24th May

The camp barman is our cashier, his name is Mario, the bar tender guy his name is Yoo.

So when you drop by next time you can speak to them on 1st name terms

Hope to see you again in future, will probably be back in Jul-04 for a couple of weeks and then Sep-04 for 1 month and thereafter hopefully a one way ticket

Hey PPL
i am new to this site and registered only 2 days ago.I am here cause i love the LOS and want to share my enjoyment for Thailand with others that have been there. My first time was in August this year i loved it so much a friend and i went back only 3 weeks ago and we are hoping to be there on new years eve (depending on flights), if not then we are going back for my birthday in Feb....

Am a relative newbie but have been reading the Forum for a long time when I was planning my first trip:
1.) 1 trip to LOS, second trip coming up to see GF Feb.and March
2.) Yes I post but have a long long ways to go to catch up. I attempt to contribute when I feel I have something worthwhile to add

Hi...im a BM

First night in phuket...went to MTB introduced myself to Nicke...was greated like a long lost friend...met Geespot aka..(love bar) told me everything i needed t oknow....thankyou...

OK i dont post muich but being a 1 tour guy cant really add much....but when i was there met some board members who i consider as friends now...so great...idea... Nicke....

I would go back to L O S by myself anytime cause i know there is a good network of lads i havent met yet but i know would be greated with warthm and friendship.....
