She's quite attractive though???
There was a similar altacation in kamalala a few months ago, next thing we heard the girl had paid someone to come and damage the guys car and when that didn't seem to quench her anger she was going to get some other thai guy to sort him out physically, hasn't happened yet but I wouldn't bet against it!!
I havn't had things this bad yet but had one girl try to kill herself whilst with me in my room, tied cutting her wrists and then took a load of sleeping tablets, hospital sorted her out, I just scurried away to the UK, brave is not my middle name, nor is stupid!!!

I have pondered that very scenario. How do expats survive the BG drama with a permanent residence? I would be always be thinking that she knows where i live and so does anyone she tells. Seems like you are too vulnerable.

And only 5,000 baht gets you sleeping with the fishes as well!!
If it is a potential downside, then the upsides counter it many times over and make it all worthwhile!!

Been there, got the tee-shirt.
It's funny when it's happening to someone else but the guy must have been sh*tting himself.
The comments are funny aswell, in response to a debate about whether the guy is Irish or a Brit, one poster replies:
"As to the reason for the fracas, perhaps it was caused over the title deed of a piece of agricultural property and the fact that Mr. Gast and Khun Kote-promsri could not agree over the meaning of the expression “Paddy Field”.

How is trying to kill herself not as bad as a bit of property damage? Seems a good bit worse to me!

If she was trying to kill him, I think the story would have had a different outcome. It did not say that he was bodily harmed in any way. But, of course, it was only good sense of him to keep some distance between himself and her. But I did not get from the report that there had been any attempt by her to kill him. After all, she was the one with all the cuts and bruises, not him. Would love to hear her side of it.

BTW, at times I've felt that my policy of always hiding any sharp objects, including scissors, was a bit paranoid. Now I think it is just being prudent! Ounce of prevention and all that!

Er.. She went at him with a knife.. He locks himself in a bedroom, she cuts through the bedroom door...
When Thais flip that face and bottling of emotions means they FLIP.. Thoughts of the future repercussions dont seem to come into it.

I must admit I have always done that (including bottles- a favoured weapon of choice)- ever since one girl turned into that guy from the film the Manchurian Candidate and developed this glazed look in her eyes and went compeletely loco
I had to call the security team and they were not too keen to take her on until she calmed down.
Regards
Drew

Guess it could be a reminder not to make a tg a promise you cannot keep, she probably had her future mapped out in Ireland / Europe one day and he took her dream away.
Think i would marginally prefer the room trashed to a Heineken bottle over the back of the head. Oopsy oopsy

We choose wives that don't behave in this way, nor do we give them reason to feel like thay would have to.
Not everybody is disfunctional you know, and certainly not every Thai woman is capable of such fury.

Mr. Patrik told police that he would take responsibility for the damage in the room, but wanted to separate from Miss Nantha. Police Lieutenant Colonel Phongrit said that even though the two were a couple and that Mr. Patrik was willing to take responsibility for the damage, the police would still have to prosecute the case according to the law.

****...that's a first

Reminds me of an article I read on Stickmans a while ago which was titled something like...: "Moving them in is easy, moving them out not"
Had to laugh about the comment from Ben Dover :-) He doesn't talk long around his view of this...:
DONT Marry Them. DONT move them in. RENT them if you dont want to be another statistic
short time is long enough......... i have done it as well. In Kiang talay as well..... hahahhaahha
The heinekin power is a terrible thing....... do let it cloud your vision.
rememeber there is always another cutie round the next corner.
And lets face it guys, who needs a wife or girlfriend in Pattaya ???
Poor sod
i would have made her pay or go to the monkey house. daft ***** will do it all again now
to some other poor guy........
LOCK'EM UP she looks to old anyway.
regards
BEN DOVER
