Bangkok for 2/3 days max - Noob (near soi coyboy maybe?)

When in Bangkok me and my gf will want to be near all the fun clubs and stuff, so somewhere near but not right there if you know what I mean. Somewhere near the skytrain perhaps so we can go all over the place. I have no idea what’s what or where anything is so please advise me and sum up a location+hotel+relatively close activities.

Please don't tell me to go and look on google or something lol, because I’m leaving tomorrow morning (yes, short notice request), but I didn’t think I would be spending time in Bangkok until now. also it would be quite fun if I manage to convince a 3sum, so I imagine near an area like coyboy that would be extremely easy to find the extra person haha, and allow short notice before anyone changes their mind.

i've heard about patpong, and i'm not interested so dont suggest that from the sounds of coyboy its got good links to other places being near the train, near all the nightlife and what have you, but isnt filled with overpriced tourist types like patpong… am I on the right line? Or talking shit lol? Also it would be nice if the hotel wasn’t slap bang in the rowdy bit, but not too far away either

Close to Nana, but a bit off.. You will have about 600m to Sukhumvit, but Woraburi has a tuktuk that drives you there for free when you want..
