I don't believe that the Banditos have taken control of Koh Samui. Over hundreds of years many countrys have tried to invade Thailand and none have. And i'm sure they will not let a bunch of fat bikies who can not fight a man one on one unless they have the whole gang with them because they are a bunch of cowards take over the island. And if they do try to take control i'm sure the headlines will be BIKIES SHOT DEAD IN KOH SAMUI. Just look what happened to a couple of Russian girls who tried to work in Pattaya.

Problem was those were tourists who paid for their hotel, not h**kers. Not all Russians that come to Thailand are maffia or h**kers. A lot of tourists with some having big money.

pretty nasty topic this 1...Im amazed the russian maffia can even get a foot hold in thailand, what I know of the thai heavys ..wich is very little I will admit..only what Ive been told..cant imagine they would tolerate anyone taking trade off them..

Russian just bought into Rio below Rockhard apparently. Not implying that there is anything hooky about that but may be the thin end of the wedge of a Russian invasion.

bandidos made a lot of problems and some of them still in jail awaiting trial - got stitched up to a certain extent though doesnt mean they were up to no good elsewhere

phuket is twinned with some russian town now

they have been moving in for quite a while

not all are mafia but would be foolish to think no criminal element

unlike pattaya or samui so far phuket has managed to control and tax anyone who wants to make hay

hopefully long may that continue - though the difference with the ruskies is they do not give a flying fk

Read my post again. Maffia or H**kers were never mentionned in this case. 2 bona fide tourists with a good paid job in their country, and by job Imean a straight job in IT business or something like that. Ever seen the amount of money some Russian families spend during holidays?

I take it you have no experience of the bike culture...

They are not just dirty fat guys in big beards and long hair.. They are far more sophisticated then that.. I would rather compare them with the US/Italian mafia in their set up.. They owns companys in may different fields.. I wouldnt be surprised if even you have used or bought something through their "network" without knowing it...

I know for a fact that i have not used or bought something through their "network" because i do not use "speed" or "ice".
