pro photographer on a search..
Hi Guys....
am a pro photographer coming for a couple of jobs, one in beginning Nov. and next trip end Jan / early Feb. about a week each trip. Am on the hunt for a couple of cool models to work with, just for fun, after I finish my work... Would love to shoot some heavy tattoo's, dark steamy shots... so i need some ref's for fun gals, not scared of showing their bod, and preferably with attitude.. in other words, very cool chicks. I'm working on a couple of personal projects... 2 exhibitions, plus a calendar concept board... plus all the usual work shit. Will happily buy a few of Singha's for anyone who can introduce me to pre-sorted girlies.... I know Phuket is full of them, but by the time I've trawled the bars, got so pissed I cant focus, and eventually walked away in disgust that I havent found what I'm looking for... well, it's easier to ask for help... so help please guys... Oh, and I've been coming to Thailand for years... only ever BKK and Pattaya... so Ph. is a newbie to me.... looking forward to it...  And just for the record, I'm not some dingdong with a digital instamatic wanting to shoot some porn... Kop Khun ma-cah...

lots of competition--by that I mean most bar girls have heard that line before. There are more proffesional photographers in Thailand than there are Tuk Tuks.

Yeah Coops, I know, thats why I asked for help.
The biggest problem is all these people who have a toy camera, and then bullshit they are a pro, just to get some shots of a naked ass. (In all honesty, the level of camera is relatively unimportant. I've done exhibition quality work on mickey mouse kit ...just for a laugh. The important bit is the photographers creativity) Theres actually somewhere around 30 resident expat shooters in Thailand from what I can garner, ranging from top pro's down to cowboys. (hell a couple of them would be better as tuk tuk drivers) I've been into BKK on assignment 7 times in 2007, just never made it to Phuket .... yet... Oh, and Professional has one f and two s's... I sorta have to type it fairly frequently....

if you are serious you would probably find it easier in pattaya.....more girls and more despaerate
BTW you would be best to use the smallest camera you have and no light props etc....that stuf will just scare 'em away

sounds like a job for 'Grace Jones'!
I agree with Nelce here - too many lights etc and they will lose their nerve but i would think there are plenty of girls willing to pose for a reasonable fee. I also expect some will not want to have these pictures shown or displayed so it should be made as clear as you can what you expect to do with the pics once finished.
