Hey me and my buddy are going to be heading down to phuket November 3rd. We are both 19 from Canada, and was just wondering what are some main things we should see and do down there and around phuket thailand.

Hard one to answer as not knowing what you like to do and secondly because whatever you plan goes completely out the window once you get here, party every night until sunrise, doesn't leave you much time to do other touristy stuff.

Known loads of guys been coming here for years and only ever have seen Bangla Road and maybe the beach in the afternoon.

Tons of stuff to do if you really want to too, from anything to do with the sea, such as fishing, scuba diving, water skiiing etc, active things like, bungy jumping, shooting ranges, wake boarding, go carting, white water rafting, to attraction type things, such elephant treks, temples, aquariums, zoos, waterfalls etc, soothing things, like massage parlours, soapys, spas or every sport you partake in, golf, football, tennis, squash etc etc

Best bet stop off at one of the many tour sales desks in Patong and they will have more leaflets on stuff to do than you've got time.

Hey Bryce88, I am from Calgary and will be back in Patong Nov 17th for my 4th trip this year.
As said before there is everything and anything you want to do, you are better to say what you like and then you might get pointed in the right direction..

Took me 10 years of coming here before I finally did a trip to PhiPhi...there was always "tomorrow!"

I'm sure you and your pal, will find many things to occupy you time in Phuket.

For starters, here on the forum, you may wish to check out the "Newbie Section"...as it has a lot of valuable suggestions, and recommends.

After that familiarization, read, read, and read more. Also, the "search" function is helpful, in finding answers to specific topics.

Take your time sir.
You have indicated in another thread that you will be in Phuket for 3 months (or so). Once you get there you will have time and be in the perfect setting to ask questions locally.
