Jilted tourist hangs himself

PATONG: A young Norwegian tourist was found hanged in his room at the Baan Pornpateep rooming house on Taweewong Rd, Patong, at about 12.30 pm on Friday.

Thomas Andreassen, aged about 21, apparently attached a rope to the shower head in the bathroom and hanged himself after his heart was broken by his Thai girlfriend.

Pol Lt Col Chawalit Niemwadee of Kathu Police Station told the <i>Gazette</i>: “We received a call from the caretaker of Baan Pornpateep to say that he had found Mr Andreassen hanging in his room.

“Near the body was a letter stating that he was depressed about his girlfriend and had decided to commit suicide.

“The body is in Patong Hospital and the Norwegian Embassy has been contacted. They have told us that his parents will come from Norway soon to collect the body,” Col Chawalit added.

you hang yourself because of a girl, you have more problems than just that!! Plus, I think LOS is the best place in the world to get screwed over by a girl, you just go to every adjoining bar near hers everynight the next week and bf evry girl right in front of her, alot better than sitting at home being miserable when a girl in farangland screws you!!

like i said before, if i have to be dumped by a girl, LOS is the best place, because you can BF every single hot girl within eyeshot of your old girl for the next month. beats sitting in your aapartment in US or UK miserable

I can't grasp the notion that any woman is worth committing suicide over.

Besides being 'hung' is just something I have had to live with!
