Taxi fares

Could anyone give me a rough idea how much a taxi to Phuket town from Patong would cost.
Also is there a rush hour as such as i need to be there at 9 am.

Thanks

it's the one place you CAN get a bus to from Patong as well......

You'll ned to organise the taxi beforehand with your hotel as there are none available out on the street

there is plenty available on the street but they are just local people with cars

much better booking with your hotel or finding someone you know and trust

Last week I paid 500 for round trip Patong/ Phuket/Patong with a 1.5 hour wait.
Usually charges me 300 for one way.

I have found almost universally that the negotiated rate for a tuk tuk to Karon, Kata, Phuket Town and Kamala is 300B one way.

are we talking about a private taxi or a tuk-tuk?

I'm refering to an air-conditioned legalised taxi.
