Bangla road is insane - probably the most consistantly wild celebrations anywhere!
1 million firecrackers constantly being dragged down the middle of Bangla.
Love it!

Would offer some advice but A. Can't remember what happened (apart from telling tg's i was 16!) B. Too jealous to tell you anyway!
Think NIcke had a pig on a table, but I dont want to go in to his sexual fetishes on a family forum!

wear earplugs......against the booming of endless firecrackers
wear a hat + glasses.....so you won't get crazee string in your hair and in your eyes
and wear old clothes as they will no doubt be ruined by the end of the night anyway...
It's a complete wild ball.....fantastic fun!!!
and I'll be ther again for it this year...same same the past 5 or so!

I will be there for New Years too!!, I cant wait
How does it work, Do you need Pre-bought tickets
to get into the clubs or does everybody just party in the street?
Im so used to stupid vancouver Ways
Also I want to go On a speedboat tour Of the Phi Phi islands
the day before new years. Does anybody know how much this
would cost and how to book It. i know its really busy then

Just party in the bars no need to book.
I booked a trip to phi phi last year the day before around the 28th-30th not sure which day or the price, Maybe around 1000Baht, Plenty of places to book one on every corner, remember to haggle the price

I hope there are no bomb threats this year. Was a downer last year.
Thinking of spending it on a small island so it doesn't really matter.

Yep, unfortunately I will be in bloody Yorkshire for New Years!
A gang of us old fogies (Brother in Law and Sister and thier mates) go down into Scarborough for a few bevvies and watch the kids being sick and then back to West Ayton for the lock in at the West Ayton Sports and Social Club.
Up at 10-ish for the family fry up (My Mum will be there too! Gotta love her, makes a great breakfast) then back to the Valley Forge at 12 with my rugby boots for the New Years Day Tug!
Against the Dennison Arms in East Ayton. Twelve aside, all big farmer types and me, rope across the startings of the River Derwent. Dennison Arms on the other bank, land lord with his megaphone and we pull like mad bstards until one or the other team is in the river (Usually ends up with everyone in the river, women as well) Then back to the winning teams pub for a Brandy to warm up and hand the trophy over or get it back!. Get changed into warm clothes again and then back to the Valley Forge for the New Years roast with veggies, spuds, all the trimmings and spotted ****.............Maybe a few pints of Tetleys to follow.
Might have a wee snooze in the afternoon!
Pop into the Hull Consulate on my way back over the Humber Bridge to Lincolnshire to get the new visa in the New Year and Bobs yer uncle as they say in Kamalalala!
