how regular bus service from Patong to Phuket city.

what about the cost for tuk-tuk and taxi meter for the same route.

Which one you prefer?

Not sure how regular the bus is, but would kind of guess its a sit in Rio with a beer and just nip out when one arrives at the end of Bangla.

Tuk or taxi will be about 400 bht each way.

Motorbike taxi should be about 200bht each way and he would probably wait in Phuket Town until you wanted him to take you back.

The buses start off from opposite the Beach Bar in Patong and one leaves every 20 minutes.You can flag them down or wait at the blue Bus Stop signs.They only cost 20 Baht per journey and will stop off anywhere you want to get off.(Central,Big C,etc).They terminate at the big roundabout in Phuket City.You can catch the return buses fron the street beside the same roundabout.
