I would sure use DHL. Should take 48 to 72 hours depending if she lives in a city or a rural area. DHL has a fine working track & trace system. Just make sure you have the airwaybill number.

Th ordianary postal service has had a few bad reports on the forum before with letters going missing or taking from weeks to months.

Let's see...

(1) Are we "B1ffing" our way to happiness? How about use of English? Or correct punctuation? Or even an approximation thereof?

(2) You can afford to bring a Thai lady to your own country but then consider POSTAGE an obstacle? Any clue as to how this would make this woman feel?

A truism in dealing with females: Parsimony leads to sexual gratification through self-stimulation.

(3) I do a lot of international mailing and the only sure way is to use a commercial carrier (DHL, &c.) at whatever level of service you can-- take a deep breath here-- afford. Then, two days later, REPEAT.

My .75 baht.

I or rather my parents have used Royal Mail recorded delivery to send documents many times without a problem. I am however having them delivered to a bar in Phuket, don't know how it would be sending documents to a rural area.

We always use Royal Mail recorded delivery and have never had a problem.

Whilst I really don't want to agree with Capt. Fantastic, if you could make your posts a little easier to read it would be gr8, thx m8

Packages go missing.. normal post to a Thai name seems to work mostly.. Registered mail works even better.

Normally 5 days to 2 weeks UK to Thai.

I am a sucker for impulse buying on the internet, sunglasses, undewater torches etc. Based on my experience I figure you have a 50% of receiving a package here. That doesn't include the regular carriers DHL etc but retailers rarely use those.

I strongly recommend that you get a quote if you are going to use DHL.... AU$145.00 to deliver a farking CD, albeit in a DVD case, from BKK to MEL. Grrrrrrrr......

Similar package from Vancouver to Melbourne (AU) via UPS US$35.00
It took 3 days.

DHL I gave one chance, never ever again.
