Thai women can have cute or funny names. Miss Puke Massage comes to mind!

I was reading The Age recently and found an article describing a Bangkok traditional massage business which had a very funny name.

Called "Miss Puke", It offers traditional Thai massage.

There must be many Thai names which we find funny in the West.

I also find Thai women's names are unique to Westerners and some are really cute.

One example, a 5ft BG called "Kung", whose name means little prawn.

I wonder how many other examples of funny names are out there?

This is from the Wikipedia entry about Phar Lap (the racehorse).

The name Phar Lap derives from the shared Zhuang and Thai word for lightning (Thai: ฟ้าแลบ fáa lɛ̂p, lit. 'sky flash').

Pornstar laundry is run by Porn (who has a pornstar tatt) who used to be one of the hardest working girls in show business only a couple of years back.

Well Mr Faulty you are 110% correct I just had a look and here is an explanation on how they named the horse.

The first name of my agent in Thailand is Supaporn (very common name). When she visits the US she purposely pronounce it "Super Porn", fully aware of the meaning.
