guys i seem to be hving a problem with the old p.c
when ever i try to book,buy something on the net the moment i move onto the secure server i get the
this page is unavaliable etc
now not being a whizz on these things any ideas what i should be looking at before i go to the local p.c world/etc and speak to there boffins ?

I had a very similar problem. Under advice from Geespot, I downloaded Spybot and 'cleaned' the shit off my computer.

Its free, so give it a go!

is old mayby you only have 64-bits

Download the current versions of SpyBot and AdAware to remove all junk and ofcourse run an up-to-date virus scanner.

You can also try to upgrade your Internet Explorer if it is too old to support latest web technology.

Also check your internet security options in explorer, tools - internet options

Sites like this have to be able to give you a cookie, if your security is too high, they cannot do this, thus you cannot access them............... I think this is the case anyway. I know with internet banking I had to adjust my setting to allow trusted 3rd party cookies
