Any need to fear or beaware of any bad goings ons? I've read about things happening over there....you know, bombs blowing up in cars and stuff.

Anything happening that I should be aware of before I drop some cash on plane tickets?

Have far more fear of getting home on the back of a motorbike taxi among the drunk road population..

Its good to be aware of your surroundings but no reason to live in fear of a remote possibility.

Drop the cash already. You will thank yourself for it many times over. So will the BGs of Patong.

More likely to get terrorised by BG's because it low season and not enough farangs
