Hi all!!!....my first time to LOS is gathering speed quickly. Was just wondering if there are any BM's from Massachusetts, and if any will be in Phuket from feb 21-mar 4 ? I am looking forward to meeting all of you that are there!!!

Sorry there MadNomad, I will be there late March early April. Your 1st trip should be great, good thing you found this board prior to your 1st trip. My very first night in LOS back in 2004, a BM took me under his wings and showed me the do's and don'ts.

you will find many people to hang out with
it sounds liek you havent traveled much?
if not, better to expose yourself to all different types of people

Why is it when some people travel,they generally want to hang out with their country folk?When i travel alone i try to avoid this. I always thought one would travel to experience other cultures.Just go with flow Madnomad.You will meet plenty of people from outside of the US.

No disrespect, but it kinda amazes me too sometimes that people travel across the globe and then try hooking up with someone not only from their home country, but their home state!

Even with social skills as inept as mine, you should be able to meet (more or less) interesting people from all walks of life. Just park your butt on a barstool and take the BG approach: Where you from?

well although it is great to meet all different people, and thats why i travel
there is a little special commonplace when you meet your own

when i finally met Billpay, it was real nice to talk with someone about american sports and such
