Flying from Amsterdam

Hey all , just a question that popped into this thick skull , we are flying from amsterdam at 14.30 to bangkok will we go through a nightime bit or will be be daylight all the way ? we get into bangkok at 07.30ish

You are going east and the sun sets in the west.
This mean that the time to sunset will be reduced.
Likewise the night will be shorter.
Sun will be rising as you approach.

That was the flight i took last year. Even though the sun is just setting the heat in Bkk still draws the breath from you! (if you are going to Bkk)

Both ways you will fly partly in the dark. Looking at the time you mentioned, I assume you are on the China Airlines flight. I will have the same in about 3 weeks from now.

Just set your watch and brain to Thai time as soon as you take off, ie think 8.30pm take-off time and wake/sleep accordingly.

Actually I always fly in the dark .... close my eye at the departure gate and open them on arrival.

Lucky you! I wish I could sleep like that on those long flights. Never could, although the last few times were not too bad.
