Just been reading the Wikipedia travel entry for Patong Beach.

Bearing in mind it's self-regulated and written by anyone who wishes to contribute...and they write anonymously...whoever wrote the opening paragraph isn't exactly showing Patong in a good light!!

We have several articulate B.M. who could certainly clean up that paragraph. Could Dodger be prevailed upon to add a colourful description of his adopted hometown? As long as there is no mention of LB’s or straws that would certainly be acceptable. 55555

I also noticed the horrible Wikipedia information some time ago. A good and detailed page for Patong, other towns and Phuket as a whole would go a very long way to raise the profile of the place. The power of Wikipedia is nearly that of Google now and its popularity is through the roof. I myself use it as a guide to most all things nearly on a daily basis.
