Just watched an interesting doco about American GI's interaction with Vietnamese girls during the war.

When the soldiers returned home they were questioned about bad publicity affecting thier relationships now they had returned home.

Alot of guys replied that they couldn't have normal relationships with American girls because they weren't attracted or couldn't relate to them anymore.

When further questioned why, they replied by saying that it was hard to give a reason but maybe that the girls from Vietnam had a better attitude towards sex and relationships on the whole.

Further more alot of these guys returned to Vietnam frequently after the war.

This got me to thinking that if the majority of guys that have spent quality time with Asian girls never seem to look back, are the rest just living in the dark or have they never lived.

Me too - nowadays, when I'm back in the UK, it never even crosses my mind to think of farang women as a possible date/shag/wife/any of that. On the same subject, I was watching a thing on TV last night about dating in New York. It said that well over 60% of people in the city aged between 30-45 are single! It seems like relationships in general are simply going out of style. Both men and women look at it and think, do I really need the grief of spending my whole life with this one person?

But let's keep the gorgeous TGs as secret as we can, or everyone will want one!

I think most guys at least here in the states are somewhat in the dark. They are under the impression that they get sex for free. Not realizing that they spend alot more then I do, even if you count the price of the flight to LOS.

And the media is no help. There was a segment on 60 Minutes (I think) recently about prostitution in Cambodia, and they made it look like every forgeiner there was nailing 12 year olds. I know several guys who go to Cambodia from time to time, and normally its for a visa run and maybe some other things. But, all of them are as disgusted as I at the thought of a girl that young.

Also, I know a lot of GI's and can definatly see the difference in the ones that have been the Asia.

I'm hooked. But not everyone reacts the same. My older brother spent several years in Korea in the Army. He was an officer and banged lots of girls there. But when I told him about Thailand, he laughed. Why do you want to go that far just to bang some *****s? he said. His attitude toward the Korean girls was, "they're just cheap meat." All his friends and especially his family told him he was nuts. But he was unwilling to get her a fiance visa and she couldn't get a regular visa and gave up trying. He felt she didn't try hard enough. He went back several times to see her. In 4 or 5 trips over there, she is the only girl he ever had sex with. I guess he's what you call a one-woman man. He met her in RockHard, but she ended up hooking up with a rich Brit who has business in Indonesia, and now has her put up in a nice house in Patong, on call for his needs. She flies down to Indonesia when he is there. He gave up on her, and settled down with an American lady who is 47, three years older than him.
He couldn't understand why when he went back to LOS, she would still charge him 3000 Baht per night. The money didn't matter to him(he's got more than he knows what to do with), but he thought that she shouldn't charge him if she loved him liked she said. So he got disillusioned, and decided "they're just *****s." Also, since he is so busy making money here, he could only afford to take the time for one 1 or 2 short trips a year, so the horniness got the best of him and now he is hooked up.
Incidentally, I could have had first shot at the lady he is engaged to now, who looks 10 years younger than she is, and is very attractive and as nice as it gets for a farang in terms of attitude. She had just broken up with her LT BF,and I knew her better than him and saw her more often. But I had tasted the forbidden fruit, so there was no way I was going down that road.
As far as getting it for free, I told him, "Do you think that a dozen years ago when you were struggling to start your business, barely able to keep the doors open, that she would have given you a second look? Don't kid yourself! You know the way the foxes treated you then, and she was a fox in those days." So much for getting it for free.
Also, the cost of 1000 Baht plus BF is less than the cost of a movie with popcorn and 2 Cokes here. So a date here when you throw in dinner before, and/or drinks afterwards is more than you would spend in LOS for a night of debauchery, and you may or may not be getting laid here. Altho, when I spend that much dough, I am getting laid, but they don't look as good as BGs, and in the past year I have found that it's not even worth the bother!!!

It dosn't matter where you are in the world if you have no cash you'll be hard
pressed to get any quality action, like you say it's not a question of are you going to pay it's more the method of extraction. Western women will not be upfront and pass hints like wouldn't it be nice if we had a new house or a new car etc. then they will just subtely work on you until they get what they want and if they don't they will weigh up thier options.

Young good looking intelligent = mucho dinero.

The only difference here is it's all upfront you know where you stand and if you deliver the rewards are sure to be greater.

Relationships are like gambling and the odds on Asian are looking favourable.
