okay, last time then. What I got as explanation is you dig a hole and plant a tree. Wanting to grow something...in that direction I guess.

i'm just guessing here and you spelt "lum" which doesn't mean anything to me in this context, but could it be "lerm ton mai"?

that means to start over or begin again.

Yep, means finished and would like to start a fresh, a new. As in finishing a game and wanting to start another one.

Maybe in relationship context, means you have ended your relationship but would like to get back together and start afresh.

now that makes alot more sense, no tree planting in my future, no pregnant but yes start fresh makes alot of sense, we did have a big dispute and she has been very solly (yeah right!) but hey start fresh sounds ok to me Thanks guys for your patience and help

It depends what you are referring to, the insertion of an appendage?, not sure about this one, or the arrival of sponsorship money in the bank account, probably a hundred ways to say that.

5555 Sorry, that was not a grammar lession, that was a hint not to speak Thaiglish. Took me ages to correct my wife to use "does", especially when followed by "it mean?" :-)

I know you can fall in the habit to speak same, but no good for all, if you get my drift

Just to complicate the matter more - what she is saying or should be saying is "rerm ton mai" not "lerm ton mai" or "lum ton mai" .

Same as when Thais call us "falangs" - they actually mean "farangs".

Anyway best of luck when you "make a fresh start".
