Question about Thai passport
hi there,Just ondering how do thai make passport in thailand? Where and is there any websites providing any information?

Its easy, and its all digital these days. Cost 1080 baht or something like that. We do however not have a permanent office in Phuket, so Thais here have to go to Bkk to apply for one. But once or twice a year they come here (Passport division) for a week or so., have been at Central Festival the last years.

THATS CHEAP.ITS 75 EUROS FOR A PP IN IRELAND..IT LASTS 10 YEARS........

My Swedish passport is 10 years but I think new ones issued is just for 5 years these days.

two offices in Bangkok, at Laksee (near don Muang) and at Bang Na (end of sukhumvit and then some.
Just go in, fill in the forms and collect about 2 weeks later.
My staff regularkly get sent overseas so they have to get passports.

The Irish one is cheap too. Its £72 in the UK for standard 32page 10yr passport

Expencive, but someone has to pay for the free visa thaigirls in the Schengen area get when they want to go holiday to England

thanks for all the input.
My niece in thailand is below 15, his parents also was not married and currently not 'together' and staying with the grandparents thus i think it will post a a problem.

My mate got one for his Thai daughter last week.He said it was the most efficient Thai office he has ever been to.It took less than 2 hours to get from walking in the doors.

Took me less than 10 minutes to get a 5 year driving license last week. The modern thailand is wonderful, shame we've just got the same dirty old politicians back.
