Cool Interesting Role Play Opportunities

I am not sure where to post this really but if it is in the wrong place please move it Mr. Mod... Thank you

Interesting Role Play Opportunities

Hi, do any of you know any (male or female) Thai/Indonesian persons living in Brisbane/Surfers Paradise
area who are Australian Citizens and may want some work on our role play contract.

An associate I am working with on a training course is looking for some Thai, Indonesian and similar Asian nationalities to participate in an exercise for an Australian Governmental Agency to play the role of villagers or dissidents etc in an training exercise to be held in Brisbane/Surfers Paradise area.

It’s not bad money and very easy, non demanding work, plus it could be fun.

It pays AU$25.00 an hour.

So, if you know of any people that have contacts over in AUS such as family friends/relatives then let me know please…

There will be local community groups, social clubs temples/churches (certainly around Brisbane) that you should be able to make contact with who could canvas their members for you.

Cool

Thanks for the suggestion.

That area has already been covered including Unis, restaurants, temples etc.

But they still need more people...

Thaiprivateeye, did you cover the English language teaching schools when u covered the Uni's. There are a lot of long term students there that get working visa's when they arrive for study that allows them to work up to 20hrs a week.
$25.00 per hr would be a lot of money to them. If all else fails go to Centrelink (Aussie Dole Office) and see if you can post ads in there. I am sure they would be more than happy to try and help.

Also another good avenue is to post notices in all of the backpacker hostels. Most BP's will also have working visa's, those that do not will be more than happy to work for cash.

If you are ever doing it in Perth I can help you out with some school and college contacts, I have long term student staying with me, Is chinese, but they have may friends in schools or colleges that are of other nationalities.

Thanks for the input I will pass this on but I am sure (I would hope) that they have covered all these bases. But one never knows...

I will also advise the organizers of your offer and send you a PM with a POC.

Wish I were there it is always a fun time... Or so I have read.

We used to use Serb and Bosnian students studying in the UK in our preparations for deployment to.................erm...........Bosnia!

Paid them £20 a day or similar to put thier cheap clothes back on and then shout at us in Serbo-croat and then throw rocks at us as only a Bosnian can.

Very similar to pre-deployment training for Northern Ireland when the Army put us on a bus to Manchester for the day...............God I do miss it!
