Thailand & Bird flu

Hi

I'm planing to go Tahiland after three weeks i'll arrivr to Bangkok and i'll stay one night there then i 'll go to Phuket can any body help me to find out a good hotel safe one my budget is around 60$ per day i have two weeks vacation do you recomend to stay in Puhket or take a tour to other places if yes can any body help me in this since this the first time to Thailand

Bird flu is very serious but only one particular strain known as the BG.
