What I like about Thai girls is who they are when they ain't a bar girl.
But my now ex was no different in many ways to what I would like about a western girl. She was smart, spoke good English so the conversation was always good but not perfect, very funny and shared my sense of humour, thoughtful & kind, understanding of others, un-selfish, happy go lucky. We split up, not through lies and deceit but more because of circumstance and we are still good friends, even still have feelings for each other. She taught me a lot about myself on reflection, something no western girl has ever done. I also like the challenge of a different culture so alien to my own. You hear so many stories than bar girl do nothing but deceive all visitors but it ain't all of them.

I know this is not he right answer to this thread but,
to be honest, I am so fecking tired of listen to stories about tg's cheating and lieing, so I really dont know if I would want to meet any tg's again and if I like anything about them at the moment, and then I mean bg's. There are many beautiful girls in Thailand for sure, but I dont know if I could go through this sponsor-thing again. I am so happy that I am finish with all this, and can focus about other things in life. What I like about thai girls? I don't know just now, but I love my wife because she is Phatcharin, not because she is Thai, Brazilian, Norwegian, Swedish, or what ever! I wasn't going to respond to this thread, as I thought it would be another Thai vs Farang Women thing, until I actually read the OP.
Also a funny thing is that my dear, 80 year old, mother asked me nearly the same thing the other day!!! I had a good think about what she asked, then read the OP on this thread and it all became clear!!!! The thing I like most about BGs is that I can TRUST them!!!! Unlike "normal" girls, I know exactly what their motivation is and, except for a couple of stalkers, they are easy to get rid of when things go bad.!!!!! The number of times a "normal" girl has changed her tune or tried to change mine, even after I have made it very clear that the relationship is all about a fun shag would be the same as the number of girls I tried to shag!!!! Give me someone without hidden agendas or motivations and previous baggage any day!!!! Also, what Thin White Duke said as well as that glorious skin texture!!!!!!

Farang husband one has been married for just over a year, he moved into his wife's rented place and rented out his own place - now the rent has gone up on the wife's place and he recommends they move back into his place - she refuse's because it would always be HIS place and is insisting they sell his place and buy a place they can call THEIRS - net cost in $$$ of that maneuver in the current market with tax, agents fees, moving costs - about a year's salary for the guy -  Farang husband number two has been married for a lifetime and has two kids, they always promised themselves a world trip when the kids finished high school (both kids over 18yrs old) - that's where they are now but you need to have the kids off your hands for a while to see money stay in the bank - no excuse - she was promised the big holiday and won't take no for an answer - last heard he is increasing the house mortgage and they'll take the trip later this year.  I am not saying that all farang women are the same, any more than I am saying that all Thai women are the same – I am merely quoting two real-life examples, common examples I would say, of the type of financial expectations that must be faced in a farang-farang marriage. I read daily on this board about sick water buffalo and money wasted on making "face", this is simply the other side. So what do I like about my Thai woman? Frankly, I can think of nothing I DONT like about TG's.
Character, looks and the way they look after their farang is far superior to the Western (and Eastern) women I have had relationships with. And, as Nellie says, when they smile.. oh my buddah, thats when NO is impossible to say!!
