Drink Prices.
I did a search for info about drink prices and there was no current info, so whats the latest?
In 2005 I think a bottle of shinga in the day time on average was about 60 bht, not sure what I was paying at night but it seemed pretty reasonable.
I keep reading what some of the BM's say they are spending on a night on the drink and i might have to re think how much to bring over with me as I dont mind adrink or 20.
In my local club a schooner of beer (425mls) is $3.30 Aust, about 100bht I think.
Thanks.

Most beer bars charge 80B ....however the price goes up from there. Dragon for example was 160B while Tai Pan is 140B.

can still get 60 baht beers daytime on Bangla at a couple of bars. Hotel I'm staying at this trip sells draft for 50 or 60, although not sure haven't stayed there since last July. Stock your minbar from 7/11 if on a tight budget. As already posted beer bars more, just watch the LD's. One other thing, where do you where schooners are $3.30.

Firey, where many of us get carried away is with bell rings, Jaegerbomb rounds & the ever so popular lady drinks.
If I stuck to just buying beers for myself only...I'd only need 1000bt a night.
I usually take out 5,000bt each night on tour......If I'm lucky some morning's, I get change.

Hey easy,
I think 1000 a night would be about right for drinks. Should be, if I remember Shinga was about 5.7 % does that sound right?
I dont drink spirits so will stay away from the crazy drinks. as far as bell ringing goes will see.

I love Jaegerbombs especially if Trent buys.
Yes don't ring the bell unless you want to drop a bundle, or at some bars a flat fee of 1k.

Just for a comparison to other parts of LOS.
I was recently in Chiang Rai and i was paying 35 baht for a bottle of Singha at a bar in the entertainment area next to the night markets.
Beer bars were about 60 baht/bottle.

From 25baht in a supermarket to 400baht or more if you let one of the touts on Bangla take you to one of the Seadragon gogos....and all prices in between.
Plenty of 50baht beer bars back on Nanai road and some of the Soi Sansabai bars do 50baht up till midnight.
