Plug Question

I know thailand is 220v

My sony vaio laptop plug says 110-240v~

I'm pretty sure it means its safe to plug in but i just wanted to confirm that and not blow up my laptop

Am i safe?

when in thailand and it comes to plug and blow up questions, best to use a condom 5555

Safe to plug in as far electricity goes - but the occasional power surge does happen, so if you can find a decent surge protected plug could save you from an unlikely (but possible) blow out.
