Finding a good Tailor?

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a good tailor? I want to get some dress shirts made.
How much will it run me?

Thanks!
Cali

Go to kings fashion in patong. In the beach road, turn to right in the end of bangla road. I made some suits there now in june, and a lether jacket, it was very nice. Ask for mr. robert, his very nice, and help you with what you need. If you go there, you can say hello from mr. larsson, norway hehe

I think Peach The Thai Tailor is deffinitely the best one, but quiet expensive. Just ordered some great stuff. If you want some good quality and cheaper, theb go to the tailor in the Ocean in Soi Bangla (allready mentioned in this thread). It's on the ground floor on the left, Khun Pranee.

I give you the address I use for more than 5 years now:

Phuket Boss Collection
162 Thaweewong Road, Patong beach

It's located in a small alley on the beach road, near KSR massage & bar.

I made already 5 suits with 10 pants, 7 silk shirts and 1 overcoat.
Price for silk shirts is around 750 B.

Regards,
Bobby

Thai Tailors

While it is obviously desirable to keep away from tailors in Patong the lure of cheap shirts and suits if you are brave enough is sometimes too strong. I was not really very impressed with the shirts I had made the first time in patong so on the second trip I took a couple of my preferred shirts with me for the tailor to copy. A good quality cotton shirt was costing about THB 3000 for six. A silk shirt was around the 700-750 mark depending on your negotiation skills. For my money the silk shirts were much much better than the cotton ones.
