Is that 1000 extra the "give or take" ;-)
Keep it posting, would be interesting to see how consistent you will be.
On the other side, don't spoil your holiday counting and reporting your expenses every day - holiday is about relaxing, not about talking money.
I think if you have that daily budget for the whole of your holiday, your going to have good fun.
Enjoy!

I like your priorities, girls, massages and drinking... as it should be. My food bill would be a lot higher but I don't need to worry about hair gel ! 120 baht per day for food is going to be hard to maintain. Happy days . Good luck.

Can only say, that for someone who's arriving for the first time to LOS in 10 days, this is really educational (especially since we seem to share priorities!)555555
Keep posting please, but yeah, don't let it govern your expenses, just have a great time!!!

Crikey...that was a busy day. You must have been drained after that lot. Was the fl a lady or one of those ladies that packs a few extras?
food 750
Sounds like you had a good feed to build your energy again after all the exertions.
Keep posting. Must be useful to incoming newbies

Guess you were waiting for it....
I never tip... I always make my GF take care of it. Saves me lots of money on that side which I can later spend on her

very usefully, this information!
I always make up budget before i leave, and try to keep track of my expenses while i'm there.
2 conclusions so far :
after a few days i give up keeping track (the ""f**k it i'm on holiday" feeling kicks in)
every time so far i've been big time over my budget... Probably could have gone a 4th time to LOS only with the money i've spent too much on my 3 first trips.
As always i will try better next time

I did not keep a budget while I was there (Just got back home)
But I know that I hit the ground running and spent large the first few days, then wised up and slowed down a bit for a while.
A day or two where I was just so tired and had an early night in the middle helped.
Then got in to full throttle on the last few days and came out more or less on budget, Or maybe just a little over if am to be entirely honest.

After so many trips, i budget more for each day. Seems to be working, as long as you dont ring the bell so much. 555
