Phuket Weather

I have been watching the weather forecasts for the past 2 weeks in Phuket. I know how inaccurate these can be and they always seem to paint a grim picture but how has the weather been lately? Is it really as bad as it looks online lately? I know that usually a shower will come through, rain a while and then all is well again but this year seems to be different.

I've been here a week now and the weathers been great and doesn't seem any different from past trips during the same time. Most days have been clear in the morning and partly cloudy in the afternoons. Late afternoons some rain clouds are visable inland and we've had a few showers but they only last a few minutes. Don't worry about the weather....just bring lots of sunscreen.

I to have always been amazed that when u check the weather forcast on line it usually shows a thunderstorm icon. But in reality most days (not talking about mid june/July) are like Andymon described.

Thanks for the link!

Looking forward to 36C. Right now it is 32F here. Great spring so far!

Thailand heat is going to hit me like a ton of bricks since my body is more used to winter temperatures now. I'll deal with it though
