All prices should be negociated IMO. The street stalls are as good as any,and the one on the corner of Sainamyen by Subway I found OK.
IIRC a day trip by speedboat to Phi Phi can be had for 1600baht ( they ask around 2800) and the half day trip to JB island last year was around 700 baht.

Hope that is some help anyway

Hello,

We visited Phi Phi Island last tuesday. It was a good trip. We booked the monday night, at a little stall in Bangla Road, next to the Family Mart. We paid 1250 per Adult, and there were 5 of us. The price on the flier stats 2800. I think the stall was called Phuket Best Trip? And the boating company was Phuket Siam Sea Canoe.

It was a good trip, we were picked up from the hotel at 8, arrived at Chalong Bay, and then departed Chalong at 9. We spent a little while on the boat. Stopped at numerous places for snorkling, photos, sight seeing, and lunch, and just general relaxing.
Places included, Maya Bay, Loh Sama Bay, Pileh Cove, Viking Cave, Phi Phi Don, Monkey Beach, and Kai Nok Island.

It was a good day, however when we stopped at monkey beach to feed the monkeys, the tour guide had a disposable plastic cup, he was drinking out of. Upon finishing the drink, he tried to bury the cup in the sand with his foot. Not good if you ask me, its a beautiful place, yet the tour guides can't even be prepared to look after it. And on the trip from monkey beach to Koh Nok island, and also on the trip back, the tour guides fell asleep, funny i thought.

Many great photos, and stories from the day.

Ben
