Dawsey will retire end of next month (April 2008). He has done an excellent work on this forum over the years.

I just ask you all to help me by using Report post tool (Red triangle icon on top of every post) when you see something inappriopriate, flaming, adult, wrong forum or similar that should need to be moderated.

Some of you guys already do that and big thanks to you.

When Dawsey retire it will be more workload for me and I dont have time to read everything either, so user input will be even more important to keep this forum nice and friendly.

So to continue make this forum a great, nice and friendly resource, please use the report post tool if you see something wrong!

He has done a good job on the board, and had a big workload to be able to sustain the level here. And i havent exactly made his work easier..555

That said, I should mention that Dawsey will always be a honorary moderator on this board, despite stepping down.

Thank you for you excellent work on this board. In part I measure that in how many posts you have deleted and how few was mine.

Kidding aside, I have always been amazed at how well you have handled everything, including being a valued "regular member" at the same time.
You have always gone out of your way to help.
On a personal note I want to thank you for all the help you have given me, whether it has been LOS related, at trip to England or something else.

Hope you will keep posting.

Am sure all the regulars in this forum will do their part to keep this forum fun and safe for everyone. Dawsey has done too much and will be sad to see anything bad happen to this forum.

I have never really understood why you dont just have 10 mods, i dont see any harm in it and could only be good for the board.

I always thought each section should have its own moderator - that way you can assign a certain workload.

im amazed at how this hasnt been done already........i moderate a board with bms in excess of 18k and we have 7 or 8 mods....spread out over the world so there is always someone online......
how this board managed with 3 amazes me.........its some workload to take on.

Thanks for the kind words, even from So-cal who has been given one or two "breaks" by me. Glad to see there are no hard feelings by anyone who has had a post removed. Always done for a reason and not personal.

Im sticking with it until the end of the month, then spending some time redecorating the house. It's long over due. I'll still be posting, just a little less.

Thanks to Nicke for giving me the opportunity to help out, its been fun...........in the main. I will BTW still vbe able to remove stuff after quitting, so don't take too many liberties Hakan

Dodger is a new moderator/helping hand, as with any appointed moderator, its not a full time job and he can do as much or little he want. But as he read every day he can help if something shows up during his normal session.

Thats the normal way to do it, but the problem on this forum is nobody want to do it. Its a thankless task, but needed to keep a forum nice and friendly.
