Hey does anyone have any pictures of Wet Willys Bar, Restuarant and Pool?

What's this place like? Anyone hang out there anymore?

Had some proper laughs there back then tho.. That strip contest we managed while lording it up in the jacuzzi rocked !!

Take a trip down there and have a look for yourself when you're next in Patong. It's not as if your schedule is fully booked is it ?

I have been a few times before but not for at least a year. I found the place nice and relaxing, the pool is the centrepiece with the bar right next to it. There's a lounge and restaurant on the ground floor of the adjacent building which looks out to the pool area. There's also a nice high jacuzzi which is about 4/5 feet above the pool and you can jump straight in to the pool from the jacuzzi - I did and when I did, a mini tsunami followed !!

Basically, I would say go and definitely take your swimming trunks. To ensure that you have fun, take a girl with you as well if you're not on holiday with your wife, regular girlfriend etc

They did have a website for ages. Never up-dated though and the 'live' cameras just had a still of Keld in the shallow end with a smile on his face.

Can't find the site now...........Prolly closed and pulled.

Its a good place to have a rstaurant and afternoon fun, too bad the Thai landlord next to it cause so much problems, e.g. if a party complain about noise etc etc and taking down signs on the road etc.

Once had a friend who rented a house from that landlord, his electric bill was very high, so I guess the one who rent that house pay the bill for the landslords own house aswell. (The is bill from electric company)

The reason I ask, is I heard the resturant, bar and pool are up for sale? Don't know if it is true or not, just wanted to find out what people thought..

As I said, the place is very nice and could do well, the problem is the other landlord making trouble. So dont expect to have parties or playing loud music etc hassle free.

Yeah, its a psot that would have potential IF you could do as you wish..

However I could almost bet that its not for sale its for short term lease and once you have paid your key money you find out that the owner will only tolerate you running a quiet little resturant and daytime bar, any attempt to promote a bit of fun (and a pool bar is totally absent from Patong now.. Even valhalla has passed) have a bit of party botht the Thai local and the flat owner / manager above come down on you like a tonne of bricks. Its a 'family' place, you cant have drunk girls in the pool, etc etc etc..

Given free reign to do as you pleased, got the word out free drinks for girls in daytime, pool parties and BBQ's, the odd 'dance' contest, foam parties, silly stuff like hawaiian night (Pig bbq, cheap tiki bar cocktails, grass skirts and scissors all spring to mind) I am sure it could be made into a place that had traffic. But essentially the thing that would get people there (pool parties and fun) is not tolerated in that location.

Its long been my assessment (and a few others) that a place that found some lesser value real estate back off nanai, and created an open spread out layout, a bar, a nice pool, a jacuzzi or two, a sauna, and played good tunes, modern chill / ibiza vibe.. Well it would be a great daytime diversion both for guys with a girl to relax and sauna have a cold beer, or as a pick up joint..

I have 1 pic which shows the jacuzzi.

As you look at the picture, the pool is below and in front about 3/4 foot down.

i spent so many hours in that pool a day i had to cut of the netting in my bathing suit, my nuts were hurting 55555

Seem to remember the winning "lady" got nekked and jumped into the jacuzzi with the judges (weren't you one of them), Ladies and gentlemen we have a winner, just give us while to properly assess the girls talents. If that sort of event were to be allowed again you have a sure fire winning venue.

Anyone know of a place with wifi, 1-2 bedrooms and pool, for around 15-20k in Nanai patong, let me know...
