is phuket more expensive than pattaya ???

hey guys,
some of my friend discourage me to go further down to phuket due to the fact that in general (hotels, food, girls, bar fines, transport,...) everything in phuket is more expensive than in pattaya...
do u think so?
is it true ?
furthermore, they say, theres much more bg to choose from...
hmmm...

YES IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE[PHUKET]..BUT IT STILL IS VERY CHEAP FOR US FARANGS.PLUS PATTAYA IS VERY MUCH IN YOUR FACE.........SO ITS PHUKET FOR ME EVERY TIME........

If you're not careful, Phuket can be more expensive than Pattaya, but that's not to say you have to spend a lot of money in Phuket. Pattaya has more cheap hotels, or so it seems. Everything else? Up to you.

For the girls they say: If you can't make it in Bangkok anymore, then move to Phuket! if no business anymore in phuket, then thank Budda for Pattaya!

If all your thinking about is saving a little money then go to Pattaya. If you want to go somewhere that has a good vibe and smaller scene go to Phuket.
Pattaya is full of hustlers, cheap falangs, mafia types and such, also has a wider selection of girls.
Phuket has beautiful beaches and a mellow scene.
