Honeymoon Hotel?

I am planning my honeymoon and am thinking about Phuket or Koh Samui. I would love to hear any advice on either. I have been on Trip Advisor and a few other places but am at a loss to where we should go.

I guess our requirements are;
Very luxury hotel
No kids at the hotel
Private pool would be nice
Sandy beach even when the tide is out
Close to restaurants and clubs

Cool

How about "Munchies" on Koh Samui ?

This resort has beach front chalets, where you open the front door and walk down the steps straight on to the beach.

No guarantee that there won't be kids around, but when I was there, it was not busy and if there were any, they were not noticeable.

Beach is good, quiet and sandy. The pool looks out to sea and can be seen in the pics from the hotel website.

And it's just a 10 minute stroll to restaurants, bars and nightlife.

Try Baan Yin Dee. It's in Phuket overlooking Patong. A very nice place....

Baan Yin Dee Boutique Resort, Phuket, Patong Beach, Thailand

My mother stayed there for her visit, my gf used to work there and the place is very nice. The management has changed however it's still a very nice hotel.
