Long Term Stays
Doing the 2-6 months stay......Stupid question...Do you ever find your self getting bored of a good thing(drinking and doing the nasty)..???I guess if you can do your job from there while you would be using work time , getting paid and experiencing Holiday at the same time..Its like winning the lottery , after awhile,Now what do I do..???..LOL

You should tell him to share a little of his wealth with us BM's.
Perhaps doing a good deed will make him happy

Living in paradise...
I've been living in Phuket for 6 months. After that I came back and missed it like hell. I really couldn't bored of it, because there are a lot of places to choose from every time. Now I've been back for a two week holliday and I can say: No, you won't get bored! When you work/life/go out there and you can find the good balance it's really great...

Yes Luiquido sometimjes I get bored
Sometimes I'm walking down Bangla and the same LB is glaring at me then there is the lady with the child begging. Then I complain about lazy staff. Then I wake up and pinch myself and tell myself a bad day in Phuket beats a good day in LA. I don't know if you have been to Phuket yet but I've been to El Paso and there is no comparison. You could'nt offer me enough money to move there.
But sometimes you lose sight of what you have or get bummed when you see a girl you like with another punter. It makes your heart a little hard inside.
Oh well I'm now off to dinner with a cutie from Soi Seapearl, Geir knows who she is

Hi amigo,
Good to hear from you again. Come on. Lets have some positive action from you. Go out and book the flight TODAY for xmas time to Patong. It would be great to see you out there with us all. The only thing stopping you from going is YOU. You will be surprised how easy it is. Dont put obstacles in your way. JUST DO IT!

Hi Liquido
Welcome to the forum Liquido.
It's a shame you never saw pattaya or patong back then as it would be very interesting to hear your reports on how much things have changed.
Those ''grass huts'' are now Mcdonald's , KFC's , Atm's etc..
Please feel free to share some stories on the board and post a new thread.
I would love to hear about your times in Bangkok just after the war , I'm assuming you know Patpong all too well..
With those kind of stories to tell you would be a great guy to be sitting with at a beer bar in patong as i'm sure other bm's would agree.

Thanks for the invite Butterflyblonde and yes I may surprise you Dirty Mike..I have been a lurker on this board for quite sometime and have really enjoyed reading everyone's post's....My time in Bangkok was 1969-1970....I guess James Bond put Phuket on the map in 1973..It was very primitive back then. The Air Force sent me to Bangkok for 1 year..First and only time of my life being able to buy any piece of candy I wanted..LOL ...I dont recall that they had barfines back then but massage places were $2.00U.S. including wack and longtimes were$5.00U.S./$3.00 shortime, not to much differance considering 30 years now...I do remember paying the price drinking Mekong and Singhi....LOL..It would be fun sitting down with you all having a brew talking about some of the shit that happened when I was there...
