2 more days to go until my return to Phuket. Does anyone know what Rawai is like and if it's worth a visit?

Hello,
Rawai is a beach in the south of the island. Not really a nice beach but a good place to go for a lunch. Bring a few ladies with you and go sitting in a seafood restaurant on the beach. Very good BBQ fishes, oysters, crabs, ... at very low price. I went there 2 times before. I rent a tuk tuk for a half day (600 B) and went with a few girls to Wat Chalong. We stopped at Rawai for the lunch then went to Promthep Cape and another viewpoint on Kata. Regards, Bobby (44 days to go).
