I don't take anything , only hand luggage , I used to store all my gear at coyote bar , but since my tg left , we both keep our gear at the bungalow where we stay while in phuket , by the way , just arrived back in london a couple of hours ago , had a real quiet time this trip and only made it up to patong & MTB on friday night...roll on 18th nov...

My plan for my 3 week trip is to bring 1 carry-on, 1 backpack, and store a duffle bag inside my carry-on bag for purchases to bring home later. I sure hope this leaves me enough space for enough clothes; are the laundry services convenient in BKK and Phuket?

It certainly sounds as though many of you find it convenient enough to bring very little with you.

YES THE LAUNDRY SERVICES ARE VERY GOOD AND CHEAP.....THEY CAN BE FOUND AT EVERY CORNER.....
AND YES IT IS CONVENIENT TO TRAVEL LIGHT..................

In Phuket, laundry are very cheap and everywhere, that's right ! 10 baht for t-shirt..etc..
but this is not the same music in BKK
They are really expensive in comparison with HKT.
I don't remember exactly the price but around 25-30 baht /t-shirt, 40-50 baht/ jeans Still cheap for us, bye the way
