What? 50bath!!!!
How the hell are you going to survive that big hole in your wallet?

You better book with Thai instead. They allow 20kg.
They only charge 2700bath for the ticket instead of 399bath with Air Asia.......

So based on those figures, you could take 46 kgs of excess luggage, before you reach the TG fare. Still sounds OK to me.

yes, but...

Last time, I had 33 kg! 18x 50 bath =900 bath+ fare 750 (taxes included!)

1650 bath, one way!

This is still cheaper indeed, but not so much as you would originally think! I booked it, but am a bit dissapointed!

No, I rarely have mlore than 15kg. There are enough laundries in Phuket. It's quite cheap and reliable.

Hell what take you all with you?
I have only a small rucksack with one pair of trousers and a shirt for the case of need. Also some small presents for old Thai friends. Together not more than 5 kg
If I need something I buy it and give it in the laundry!!

i am the same.i pack everything,i bring clothes i never even wear.i think its because i have travelled for work to to many places and just throw my wardrobe in the suitcase.my suitcase weighed nearly 25kg when i went in august and my rucksack was criticised for weighing 8kg.

Talking

i just take hand luggage ,no suitcase -so no waiting around at the luggage carousel ,i go with what I'm stood up in clothes wise, and just take the usual essentials, you know, toothbrush and paste ,a kilo of condoms,(assorted colours),then when i arrive i buy teeshirts and shorts etc --sounds like tintins suitcase is big enough to take back the reclining Buddha !

I just put about 5 t-shirts and 2 shorts max in mine , oh yeah ..a little underwear too and some speedo's for the beach , usually weigh under 10kg's.

I always buy shit to wear when i'm out there although i think i will take some smart trousers and a couple of shirts next time.

I need to dress up a bit as i'm usually slobbing around in comfy shit , but i really don't know how any of the guys i see out there can wear jeans in heat like that , even at night ..i'm pissin with sweat in shorts or trackie bottoms.
